Passing an "All of the Above" Energy Plan
Leader Boehner supports an "all of the above" energy plan that will lower fuel costs, reduce our dependence on foreign energy, and promote a healthy environment. As Congressional Quarterly reported, the Republican bill would “overhaul energy policies, including allowing for offshore drilling, exploration of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and provisions related to energy efficiency, ‘smart grid’ technologies, loan guarantees, alternative fuels and coal gasification.” Speaker Pelosi opposes this measure.
